Drive this weekend
I was just kidding. Zonie knows I just make fun of him for his herpes anyway....
Like I said, we often have honorary members come along, so it isn't an "S" exclusive thing, he just needs to sign up with a membership like the rest of us so I can contact people when needed.

Hi Boofster,
I know we aren't exclusive from this list of cars I can recall that have joined us in the past:
Acura NSX (club get together, then NSX club members joining us for drives)
Acura TSX (stereo installed several members knew)
BMW M Roadster (club get together)
BMW M5 (owner of an M roadster)
BMW Z3 3.0 (friend of CEO2B, asked before hand)
Honda Civic Si (former and current owners)
Mitsubishi Evo 8 (jayhawker, former S2000 owner, and his neighbor)
Nissan 350Z (asked if he could go with us)
Porsche Boxster (asked if he could go first)
Subaru WRX STi (jayhawker and clayton, both past S2000 owners)
I was irked a bit about not asking upfront, just signing up - especially with no info and then you forwarding the email. Everyone above filled out a membership form telling us about them and then Doc listed them as honorary members.
To me, at a minimum, courtesy would have been to ask first as everyone else without an S2000 has done in the past, especially since this is your first drive. To me it's like being invited to a party, by a person I just met (since this would be your first drive) and taking along friends, beyond my date, that were not invited AND without asking if they can come - just showing up. How would you feel if it was your party and you were not expecting them?
Maybe I am misreading your statement on "maybe we should clarify..."
S2000arizona.com is an S2000 owners site. It says it on the home page. While we don't require participants to own an S2000, making your assumption that we need to put a disclaimer bothers me. Common sense dictates otherwise in my mind, but I guess that's why a bottle labeled POISON now states "drinking poison can cause serious injury or death."
Not trying to piss anyone off, just trying to make my point clear.
If your friend can make it he is welcome (once he fills out a "free" membership form):

And Richee - don't get me started, since I just saw Doc PM'd you
See you, ALL, tomorrow!

I know you meant no harm Richee, we missed you...just saw your post.
Thanks for not making me lead Doc
Needed the time off after being out of town.
Had a good time and never knew that room was upstairs at the Haunted Hamburger. I talked to the owner a while sitting at the bar eating so hopefully I can convince him to book that room for us next time.
Also good to know that Jerome is an open minded town - thanks to the Puffin Stuff store

The amount of VW buses in and around Jerome was crazy. I have never seen that amount of hippies in one place!
