Default Emissions testing or ODBII check?

How hard is it to pass emissions with a modded car in AZ? For a MY2000 does it undergo dyno emissions testing or just ODBII? Trying to decide if I should return back to stock before we make the move next summer.

Phoenix allows cars that look like they are continuously blowing an engine on the road. You should have no problem.

The emissions tests are not very difficult to pass, they are nothing like the California tests.

yeah, it's 99.9999999% definite now. ODB2, I can't pass since I am running the AEM EMS. If it's smog testing is it done on a dyno or just fire the car up? Are they gov't run testing facilities or is it done at any local garage like here in NY? The latter usually has facilities that can pull strings for you, which leads to the next question, does anybody know any?

I drive less then 3k miles a year to begin with, so putting it back to stock is going to be a hassle. But if I have no choice, I will.

They will put you on the auto-treadmill and there are no strings to pull here - all smog checks are done at a state facility.

I would not worry about it - the requirements are not that stringent.
