Engine machine shop recommendation
I'll be building a K series for my S and need a good machine shop to bore the block, do the head and balance the crank.
Anyone have any experience with the local shops? I'd prefer somewhere with Import experience and also prefer a shop that is likely to have a deck plate for the K.
Thanks!

Haha, Thanks guys.
I'd prefer not to have to ship the block out if possible. Plus I prefer to walk around the shop and talk to the guys there. Although, I have heard a lot of good things about Laskey.
If I'm not happy with talking to S&S, I'll get in touch with BAWSS
BTW Gerry, it's Ian. I'm going over to S&S today per Science of Speed's recommendation. Don't need it built, just bored.

I went over to S&S and they seemed like good guys, a little pricier than I am used to paying. But I ended up picking up a shortblok from someone that couldn't finish their project so I no longer need the machine work.
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!
