Default foggy headlights.

Is there anyway to restore headlights once they have oxidized. I have taken them to the dealership and they sanded them down and sealed them but the foggyness came back after a few weeks. Id like to avoid buying replacement headlights right now if i can just refinish mine somehow.

Once theyve been sanded you pretty much have to keep reapplying the clear coat sealant stuff because it eventually chips and cracks especially when you wash you car often

We have a painter that will sand them, then re-clear them. Ask some of the locals that have seen my car since. The difference in unbelievable. They look brand new. G just had his done too.

I bought the 3M headlight polishing kit. You're welcome to borrow it if you like.

I used the 3M kit about six months ago and it worked great. Every time I wash the car I apply a coat of wax. The headlights have stayed looking crystal clear.

Headlight polish works decent (unless they're REALLY bad)

thanks for the offer but if it works i know ill end up doing it to my mom and sister's vehicles so I think it would be better for me to purchase a kit. I appreciate the offer though.
