I haven't touched licenses yet. Why do you need those?

Just got my S setup exactly like my actual car. The suspension settings are spot on. This game is pretty damn good

Anyone else having a problem with the shadows being cast by and on the vehicles? They're extremely grainy, and it was the very first thing I noticed when firing up a race. Looking at some screenies taken, it doesn't look like others are experiencing the same problem. Wonder whats going on there...

^ I think I know what you're talking about. Screenshots probably don't show it because there is extra processing done for still frames. I think they reached the limit of the PS3 power so they had to take away from smoother shadows and obviously jagged edges. I really wish they had GT fro the PC.

Interesting. I was under the impression the PS3 innards were fairly buff. Either way, as I played some more today I found that the grainy shadows only persist while the car is stationary, at the grid start. When I start to race, the shadows become more fluid/less jagged. The overall appearance of the vehicles looks like it could use a bit more polishing, IMO.

The driving, however, is spot on. I love the feel of the under/oversteer. I bought a SS AP2 and modded it to approx 340hp and DAMN that shit is hard to keep straight out of a corner! Lots of fun though!

The soundtrack to the game, which is something I always loved about the GT series, is again up to par. They've even got some drum'n'bass playing during the races. Being the jungleslut that I am, this is highly appreciated!

And how spectacular is the photography in this game?! It's amazing, I just hope they will implement more locations to shoot some photos....be it with updates or add-ons.

Also, I saw Boof had grabbed a DC5 for FF. After winning a race series I ended up with a '89 Civic Mugen Motul racer, and it's DAMN fast right out the gate. Looks like a toaster tho...haha. Used that in the FF race and it was easy as pie. Didn't try to mod if yet tho. I know, in previous GT's, once you acquired a race version of a vehicle it was usually modded to the brim already.

I'm in love with GT5.....just like I was expecting to be.

Uploaded to the XMB location? (viewable on the ps dashboard)

Can't you just then transfer it via usb? I only took one picture, and have not tried to do this yet. I did set it as my ps wallpaper tho =D

Yea it's all about the feel, and the car actually turns when you tell it to now lol.

You get new locations the more you play and discover them...just like the paint colors.

For pix, I did copy to XMB, then copied the folder to a USB thingy, then uploaded to Flickr. Seems there is no 1080 res on Flickr for some reason (I've seen other hi-res) so maybe we need a better host. Oh I also found an option that blows it up to 3840x2160...just go magnification 2x under camera options.

Check out this detail:
