gun laws?
Im just wondering, is it legal for someone who is 21+ over to privately sell a gun to someone who is 19 in the state of Az? I keep getting mixed responses but Im not really sure...
From what I know, it is illegal for a dealer to sell a gun to someone 18-20 but for a private sale it is ok.

It is legal as far as the criminal code and Arizona gun laws are concerned

Be advised that if sell the gun to anyone of any age (18 and up) you can be held accountable in a civil trial if they injure or kill someone with that gun. It is important that you document the transaction completely. I would even go as far as having a witness or notary present at time of transaction so that you have proof that the person buying it was not in some deranged state or mentally ill (this is one case where the age limit does not work - if they have a pre-existing case of mental instability). It is recommended that you require the person to take a firearm safety course (or have proof that they already have) prior to sale.
Personally I would never sell a gun to anyone. I would have it destroyed if I did not want it any longer.
