Hmm I disagree, I think 9 out of 10 times they items are stolen to be used in an Integra, Accord, Civic. They have no use for the hardtop.
exactly.... the items that were stolen can easily be modified to work for other models

What puzzles me a bit about l8brkr's job is that they stole the start button. This leads me to suspect that someone is either just hauling off parts for resale, or has an S.

i dont think they need to have an S...i have seen plenty of teggys and civics with the s2k start button...even 350zs.

What i wanna know is what area of town are you in? I am in the peoria/surprise border.
The guy with the yellow one that got jacked i believe is on the west valley too...
Maybe we can gang up and set up a s2k dummie car or something and catch the assholes.

so sorry to hear man

I am starting to think all discussion of this should stop.

We may have a mole on this board.

I know I stopped going to AZHT because it has been linked numerous times to people knowing things they wouldn't have known from anywhere else.

Exactly, the start button is just something to complete the circuit when it's pushed in, nothing more....

The best thing you can do since the theft rate has increased is get an alarm and do your best to keep it indoors or atleast within a distance where you can hear the alarm if/when it goes off. Simple truth is, if thieves want your belongings, they're going to get it...

ya know... I had that same thought.
It seems to me that the cars jacked as of recent could very well be of the same "gang".
If we could set up a dummy S with surveilance, then perhaps we could catch these forkers.
Perhaps we can send a letter to the fuzz and cooperate in a sting?

Yeah... I know feel your intention... But nobody should EVER leave a pistol in their S unattended.
Ryan, have you talked to the man about setting up a sting operation? We use a dummy S and dress it up all sexy and videotape the perps?
