Default Headlight Plastic Fading

As we all know here in Az the sun beats the heck out of our headlights.. What is the best way for me to remedy mine from looking terrible. Only my right side has started hazing, which is weird. Has anyone used a certain product that actually helped? Thanks in advance!

I just used some 3M rubbing compound, in 2 different grits, some polish, and an orbital buffer. Headlights came out smoother, no haze, and looking great!

I'm gunna give the meguires plastx a try, and see how it works. I don't have access to a buffer at the moment, so I hope some good ole fashioned elbow grease does the job!

wet sand the lights with 1500 then 3000 sand paper - then use the PlastX. Did mine two years ago and they still look perfect.

For added protection - have some clear bra material put over the lenses.

The 3M kit is the way to go... I would borrow a buffer from a friend or pick up a cheap one at Harbor Freight...

Plastx is a glorified armor all IMO

Another good porduct is NOVUS plastic polish but it is still not as effective and permanent as the 3M kit and a buffer

The Plastx stuff is definitely worth a shot. I had pretty bad hazing on the headlights on my old WRX, tried some of that Plastx stuff out. After about 20 minutes of work per headlight, they looked great.
