The only way u can probably speed this up is to get a lawyer and open up a civil suit. Get the rest of the victims to use the same lawyer and split the cost up front and sue him for the court costs as well.

My friend had this happen once with his really nice mr2 turbo. Once my friend got a lawyer to write a memo on professional letter head that he was going to sue for x damages and press charges for this and that, the dude fessed up and got his insurance company to get involved asap so charges weren't pressed. Oh College... .. .

Oh and make sure u mail the letter express with signature required. Don't deliver it or send in cheap regular mail form.

Take it easy there. This is exactly why we have insurance. It covers damage. Lets just hope simmy had Allstate, because then he would be in good hands
