I wanna start autox. Anyone on here going to one soon? I'd like to tag along to see exaclty what all is required to start. I was on the azsolo site the class my car but got a little lost looking at the various pdf's.

 

All you need is a helmet and a car that isn't falling apart. I bought my helmet from a motorcycle shop because I waited till the last minute and actually bought it the morning of the event, If I could do it all over I would have just bought an automotive helmet with an SA2005 rating. The only real difference on the SA rated is the fire rating. An M2005 (motorcycle) is perfectly legal for autoX but if you ever want to get more serious about tracking, you will need an automotive helmet. If all you want to do is AutoX, save the money and buy a cycle helmet, mine was $130.

I'm still a newbie but I did learn a lot on my first time out, I'll help ya out any way I can.... not sure when I am going again.
