Intermittent Key/Ignition Problems

Just checked and the terminals are tight. At this point I am thinking the battery is defective.

just because it is new desn't mean it is good.

it isa new battery yes, but it may not be good. it could've dropped a cell that fast. i had one that i started my car, drove 1 mile o sonic. i turned it off, went t restart after i ate, and it was done. didn't want to turn over. it had dropped a cell just like that. it can happen, and does more than you think. i wanna say out of every 100 parts i put on, 3 of them were bad rght out of the box
I don't work on cars or anything mechanical in nature.

As a side note, this chick I know has a viper something alarm and 1/2 the time it won't arm while pushing the button. What could it be? Tried using the second remote and same thing so it's not the remote battery.

vipers make crappy alarms. i would bet thats your problem boof...

take out the battery and have it tested at autozone.
