Just jailbroke my iPhone
After headin to the apple store and talkin to the techs I decided to jailbreak my iPhone. Once you do this you can change the different themes, background, font, slider, ect. There is a pretty cool S2k theme that has a CR as the slider and has a bunch of images that continuously change in the back ground. Here is one of the images...

only voids warranty if you don't restore the phone before taking it back to apple for repair.
The biggest down side is by Jailbreaking the phone you take out a lot of the security meaning if you keep any important personal information on it ... don't after you jailbreak it!
also opens you up to viruses and you can not update the phone to newer firmwares without restoring then updating and re jailbreaking.

Jailbreaking is a SOFTWARE modification.
You just restore before any warranty work.
The biggest downside to Jailbreaking the phone is not enough resources to run all the extra crap.
iPhone 2g/3g = 128mb Ram of which barely any is left over when using it like a normal device. Which means when you Jailbreak it and load all kinds of themes etc the device runs like shit. Also has a processor speed in the 600mhz range which is down clocked to save battery.
iPhone 3GS = 256 Ram which has double previous the previous iPhones, it also has a more efficient and faster processors of 800mhz ish that is downclocked as well to save battery life. (Still higher than the previous)
What I'm getting at is, if you have an older device don't bother it will make your phone run like crap. If you have a newer one you can enjoy the Jailbreak content, but like Blu said you do open up the possibilities of Virus etc. It's also a pain to update....
