Yay? Should be interesting. Sucks about Massa though.

I think its awesome! I am very excited. I hope the car continues to improve, and would love to see Schumacher challenge for a victory at Spa.

I miss F1 of the old days....talking about the drivers. It is nice seeing someone different win every weekend though.

That lying, cheating, backstabbing, egotistical s.o.b. is a great driver! Love his driving abilities, wish I liked the person he stands for though. F1 has been both blessed *and* cursed by his presence. Would have loved to have seen Schooey and Senna in their prime, in half-ass competitive cars. Would have been exciting races. I did see them race, but Schooey was too early in his career then. Enjoyed watching Villeneuve chewing up Schooey on the racetrack once in a while, and Montoya too.
I guess that about sums it up for me.... I love to watch Schooey being chewed up on the track!! Which doesn't happen that often, but when it does, it makes him look like a rank amateur.
He would do very well right now - there is absolutely no one near his calibre right now. Perhaps thats why he's coming back - so he can pad the statistics a bit more and let everyone forget there was no competition!!!!
Did I just write that? Do I hate him that much?

That's crazy. I've been following the season and there's nothing like it

How cool would be for Hamilton and Vettel to be in the same race even.

I do think it has quite a bit to do with the car. Schumy is not a magician.

I wish they didn't cap spending limits. F1 is supposed to be about the peak of the latest no holds barred tech, the edge of what's possible. I can see the other side too but they're taking away a good chunk of what makes it so sweet.

Totally agree! F1 should not have a spending cap - the whole premise is that it represents the pinnacle of auto technology: no RPM limits, no single tire manufacturer crap... although I do agree that the crazy huge wings on the cars should be smaller in order to improve overtaking... but the engineers would figure out a way to make the car better with the smaller surface area - and that's exactly the point!!! I'm going to enjoy watching Michael back in action again against Alonso, and I'd love to see him school Hamilton! BTW, keep an eye on Nico Hulkenberg. I've been watching him in A1GP and now in GP2, and he's got speed similar to what I remember watching Schumacher do with Benetton in his early days.

Any interest in a F1 race watch party for the next GP at my house?
It will be on Sunday 8/23 for the Spanish race.

I get the British broadcast version so probably around 4pm maybe.
