Default need help/info remove & install radio door

Need info how to lift up the radio door to install a new console cover. Have tried to pull it out per Ricks' instructions but is so difficult am afraid something will break. Also need to know how to replace the radio door with the 2004 door. Thanks in advance.

All you have to do is pull. there are only a couple clips holding that radio door frame.
for the radio door, once you pull the whole frame out you just open the door, flip it to the side and you'll see a liitle pin holding the door to the frame. Use a very small tip screwdriver or a big needle to push the pin out from the inside (there are two pins ,left and right).Be careful before removing the door from the frame, you might want to remember how the spring on the left side sit on the frame. If you put it back the wrong way,the door won't open automatically. From there it's just about pulling the old and putting in the new one.

good luck

Thanks sprchrg. Have been pulling hard for 20 minutes but apparently not hard enough. Thanks again.
