I just ordered some Hankook ventus v12's in 215/45 and 245/40. Should have them mounted next week. They were ranked 2nd right behind the Dunlop Star Specs. Got all 4 for under 400 shipped from onlinetires.com, anxious to try them out.

here is the link..

255/40/17
225/45/17

I see all the Japanese drive with A048s but they cost too much.

Yea the yoks are supposed to be an amazing tire, but you get what you pay for, and imo they are complete overkill for street driving. They are more of a track day tire.

discounttiredirect has an $80 mail in rebate on Falken Azenis RT615. I had a set once, and with this promo being good until April, I will most likely pick up another set. I had a set of these, right after a set of RE070's. I honestly like the Azenis better for a couple reasons. The best thing about the RE070s is there extremly stiff sidewall. I think they have the stiffest sidewall of any tire on the market right now. One big thing, Azenis are way more predictable at the limit. The RE0's just went out from under you at the limit with barely any warning, and this comes from experience in a Subaru. I can only imagine it being a little scarier in an S2000. Luckily it doesnt get cold here!

So if not for the sticker tag, then the yoks would be the best choice ?
