Parade Opportunity - October 18th
The NAU Homecoming parade is October 18th. My car has carried the Grand Marshall for the past two years and will be in again this year. Another s2k owner in Flagstaff will also be in the parade, as well as a friend with a Z3.
A few folks from our group came up last year to participate and we had a great time. I typically have a big party at my place on Friday night and the parade is Saturday morning. Might be kind of fun to have the Arizona S2000 club represented in the northland.
Please let me know if you're interested in coming up and driving a dignitary in the parade. Anyone is welcome to crash at my place Friday night - or I can get you a nice room at Little America or Woodlands Plaza for about $64.
Thanks, Dave
PS - Adam, if you come up again this year, I'll gladly return your sleeping bag, a short year later!

Dave,
I believe that there is a typo in your email... I thought that I had the grand marshall in last year's parade???
I might be interested in doing it again, but my car is not a convertible. I'm not sure if we will have the Roadster then because we are going to be selling it this fall. Let me know if a coupe is okay.

This sounds like a KICK! Being an NAU alumnus myself (Class of 95) I'd be PROUD to be in the homecoming parade...
I'll check it out with the misses...

Great, Dave. Keep me posted whether you can come! Adam - I may have mis-spoken. When I was in Blue Key, the Grand Marshall was always a Make-a-wish kid. True also my first year with the S2K, but that may have changed last year.
As beautiful as the M3 is, not sure it will meet the need - unless you don't mind someone hanging out the sunroof. Hopefully the M Roadster will still be around...

Dave,
Sorry, doesn't look like I'll be able to make it this year. My family is taking our annual trip to Laughlin that weekend. Too bad too, I was really looking forward to it, it'd be cool to be a part of the NAU homecoming.
Maybe next time.
Thanks,
Dave
