Oh, and a quick reference, Mesa had 1,009 vehicle thefts in 2010... Mesa is not that big, and not as populated as would dictate almost 100 cars "reported" stolen per month. You do the math.

Oops, just noticed you're married. Southern Tempe is still nice, south of Elliot Rd.

Personally, when I went to ASU it was just... not me... I'm a pretty relaxed guy and I don't look for much in everything I do. I live on the west side in the suburbs around 35th ave and Bell and it's a really nice area. Everything is close by and when I have to drive to work in the morning to Scottsdale I just take Greenway all the way down, no need to worry about traffic.

Personally I say rent a house from someone and park your S in a garage

But like they said above, Tempe is the place to be or Scottsdale, not Phoenix really... But, if you're looking for a nice calm area North West Phoenix is good. That being said I've only spent time in Scottsdale because of work, Tempe because of school, and Phoenix because I grew up here. So, I'm pretty biased...

Where is ATSU? If it's in Mesa just live out in Gilbert. There is a reason why it's on Money Magazines best places to live list every year. Low crime rates, affordable housing, etc.

I moved 4th of July weekend. It was miserable unloading a moving truck when it was 117 degrees out. Thank god for the pool or I would have seriously packed everything back up and moved back to NYC.

Wow, didn't see all these responses. Yes, I'm married, and she's too hot and too cool to cheat on (just bought me Advan rgIIs and HKS 75mm single for christmas), We're looking at The Greens apartments in Chandler, looks nice. Oh, and we won't need moving help, we're only taking what will fit in her CRV and my S. Can't wait to get down there. Everyone here keeps telling me I "Need ta drawp a three fifty in that thang"....I need to be with people who like cars that aren't camaros.

believe me turbo, I've been there several times, and it's better than here. Anything is better than here.

KeithM, thanks. I think that's where we're going.
