Default Pick One Please

So I was about to place an order for an '08 Mini S but then I can't really make my mind up. They both have their drawbacks and advantages.

So I want to know which would you like to have for a DD and all around fun car?

Zac

Have you driven an Elise? Getting in and out is very difficult and would be a pain as a DD.

The Mini is a chick car. The Lotus is an awesome track toy, but not a daily driver. Keep looking. Looks like you're spending ~30k, how bout a nearly new G35 coupe or a Mugen Si?

I don't think Mini is a chick car. It's very cool actually. I'd love to have one as a DD.

This is not an apples to apples comparison. I think it is not possible to have the Elise as a DD at all. The car is a pure track/weekender. The Mini on the other hand is quite capable in competition and enjoyable in everyday atmosphere. So it depends what you want to do.

I'm sorry I forgot the Mini is a chick car that bisexual dudes like too. Get a convertible and [lisp on] some super matching scarves and sunglasses and go for orange mocha frappachinos! [/lisp off]

Seriously, the Mini is too damn cute for it's own good.

How about something more along the lines of what I just picked up?
