Boxster S???
Don't get one. Its the poor mans Porsche that people who can't afford the betters get. You can get something better then that for what you're going to pay for it.

9krdlin, I might be selling the exhaust...It's a stainless steel 3" custom exhaust. Offer me a price and it might be yours now. I paid i think 466.00 for it.
Also have a tonneau cover, S2k car cover and a jug of never opened pre-mixed radiator fluid....lol.

l8brakr, looking for either rwd or awd, staying away from the evo and sti camps. Thinking of possiblities and it's funny how when I find a car there's someone that hates the car for some reason.... How about this..anyone have anything to say about the Boxster S???
can i grab the car cover?

Cayman S way way way > Boxster.

I have an 07 A4 with the 2.0T. I bought it built in fuel economy mode...fwd, CVT. I love how the engine pulls hard right away. I love the interior. I hate the CVT. It saps all the fun out of the driving experience. The car is ultra stable, even at triple digit speeds, super quite, smooth, safest car in its class, a really great boring car. I test drove the A3 DSG 3.2 quattro and OMG I loved it but the A4 got better mileage and has a far superior back seat. The car is basically just for commuting so yeah, took the A4. I did one track day with the A4 and I was surprised at how great it handles. It would be a great track car with some work and a different tranny.

Well looking into a -06 Cayman S and we'll see where that goes.

I drove the 08 A4 all wheel drive 2.0T, there's lots of things you can do to the engine and reflash but I just found out that the '09 model is completely redone.
BTW nice titanium package there....

Boofs....I would be tempted to sell it to you....make me an offer....

I thought it would be a great alternative to the Mini but it looks like that has dropped off the list. That reaffirms my vote for the 1 series or a 3 if you want something right away. FYI, some great deals can be found on the '06 325's.

Bah... If you want a Boxster get one regardless of what anyone says. If you like an NSX and it is what makes you smile as you roll out of your house go for it. I know for me, the natural "upgrade" would be an NSX. I know that at sub 300hp that vehicle is not the most powerful vehicle out there for the buck, but I know it sure as hell would make me feel like a million bucks as it was for me THE car to have. By the way, a nice '92 NSX would fit well with me as I would only be 6 yrs older than it.

Don't live life conforming to what other people think you should get.

Get whatever you want (pending wife approval).

A car enthusiast gets whatever the heck he/she wants not what someone else thinks.

Just my 2 centavos.

You are correct in what you're saying. Its not our car your buying. The car has to fit all your means. Well no car is perfect for anyone. There's always something you have to give way on. GL.

I love my Mini. Bought it for my GF but I drive it all the time. Handles great and you can put a bunch of sweet parts on it for small bucks.

Yea I wanted the NSX first but it's hard to justify spending 40k on a car that's 10 years or more old.....

Yea I'm just curious to know what peoples opinions were that's all..... if anyone had any of the cars they would let me know of any potential problems I would run into or anything.

Still up in the air..I have no clue because I can't find a car like the s2k that I can say that I love..... Maybe another s2k might be in the future but I'm looking for other car first off...
