Tire sizes for the Atom I order are:
15" Yokohama A048 205/50/15 Fronts
17" Yokohama A048 245/40/17 Rears
I am a bit concerned about the tread life but Mark from TMI has said since the car only weighs 1400 pounds it's really not going to wear on them that bad for the drive back. Worse case I get another set once I get back to AZ.
I'm looking forward to getting more pictures of the build soon....
The frame is matte black and the body panels are white.
Thanks for the awesome comments I'm glad to be part of a great community that shares a passion like this for cars!

Congrats for sure!!!!! Awesome color combination also!!!!!!!
Awesome car, congrats. Why are you driving it cross country though? I've done that drive a dozen times and it's about as dull as it gets. I'd have the thing shipped and then take a road trip up through northern AZ to break it in.
Get a highway map of the USA that shows the secondary highway lines in blue, or if your GPS allows you to choose those, try to stay off of the Interstate Boringway system of straight roads and curves that an elephant can take at full speed. If you can't tell, I hate most of the Interstates in this country. Very few are worthy of a real drive. If you can afford the time for the drive, take a few more days or weeks and really enjoy the trip. You don't get to drive across the country every month.
You'll most likely have to get a temp tag in VA.
I went through that attempt with my new giant trailer that is ready for pickup in KY right now. When I asked the MVD about picking up a temp tag to bring it home, they said they cannot provide me any kind of temp registration or paper tag at all without having the Certificate of Origin. I offered to show them a photo of it from my sales rep and the verified VIN # - still no go. In my case KY doesn't even put plates on trailers in there state so it took pleading with the local clerk's office to give me at least a 7 day drive away permit.
If you decide against driving it, I'm sure I could pick it up with my trailer. If it was ready early enough I'd park it on there behind the 1989 Michael Keaton Batmobile.

Go for the trip across country (it'll be an excellent story), but definitely take the advice about finding the 2 lane roads. Also, after a while it is is possible to get burned out (or burned) by driving top down in the sun, so plan the boring interstate stretches for some night driving. I've had the S to Colorado - 14 hours at a time, 2 lane and interstate, and it does get to you.
Ugh I have driven cross country probably 4-5 times now. Never in a fun car, but that didnt matter. Good luck to you. It will be fun, but its gonna SUCK big time, trust me. After day one and 12hrs in a Honda Accord getting 36mpg I was over it...
