From the conversations I have had with Mark about this and he says they are a small enough company that they are going to stand behind the product. The forums seem to be solid and not full of people complaining about problems.

People track these cars 100% of the time and put thousands of miles on them I'm not too worried. Worse case it's a Honda power train bolted to a go cart chassis I'm sure we can figure it out.
Sweet! So pretty much you buy the car and you automatically become certified Atom tech.
Im pretty excited, Its going to be like a 4 wheeled bike!

I have a couple ideas of mods I want to do to mine once I get it back.

Funny thing happened yesterday, I'm out in Hawaii for work and running errands and I happened to see this parked outside Starbucks.

Didn't see the owner but I got pretty excited! It looked to be the older Atom with a GM motor.
Is that in Hawaii Kai?

Spend the money on a really nice light weight helmet. It will make the car so much more comfortable to drive for long periods of time.

Crazy to see how low it sits.

Jesus, Hawaii isn't exactly known for smooth roads either. I commend you on getting such a radical car, I don't think I could get away with having that as a toy. It's about as impractical as it can get. LOL, it'll be fun though.

I read somewhere there was a V8 powered one at one point?

Ok, question how come in that link they talk about the Atom not being street legal in the US?
