We did the Sun in the Fun events in the spring to avoid the valley monsoons of Sept and Oct and the cold weather up north. March or April works out best because they tend to be dryer and warmer. Can we do a Devil's Highway run before the monsoon kicks in? It's been awhile.

im down for sure. Although timing is a big thing for me because of school and 2 jobs. If we allow a bit more time to plan a big meet, then the more events to happen, sponsors, people, and everything else.

I tried to organize a Fall Tour drive last fall but nobody showed except 4 other NM guys...

I can help get members from NM, TX, CO, and wherever else. I believe HomeComing is not happening anymore and AZ is closer for other states, so this could be brought back and be real big.

Im thinking the 3rd week in May might be best, since we are already in mid February. As of right now i think we need to start a list of who can/will do what. If we get a list going now and lots of leads then this can go very smooth.

Im glad that there is an interest for such a large event and hope it goes through.

Thanks Ronnie for starting this!

Doug,

Only issue with May is how hot it starts to get.

It hits 115 in the summer months and around 100 in May typically.

gotch ya. thats no good. Same with NM, but we are only in the mid to high 90's for the most part.

if you guys do a Prescot drive. Then we can get to Flagstaff from NM in a few hours and then head south and meet up....

I think by late October, we should be in the clear for monsoon or hot weather. We will definitely have a Prescott or Mt. Lemmon meet in a month or so.

Yeah a prescott run would not be bad at all in late april early may. october would be sweet for a big 2 day event. We could do a big drive on saturday, then sunday we could have a big meet and hang out at the dealership here. Im sure we(BELL HONDA) wouldnt have a problem hosting up to a 150 s2000s on our whole lot.

If you can get a 150 pre-approved spots for us that would be way awsome.

How many s2000's usually go to the AZ meets?

Right now our average is 5, even though i know 60 owbers in NM...
