Question on colored lug nuts
Keep the black.
The anodize will wear off in the sun (not sure about Type III hard anodize) and it's expensive to anodize aluminum in the first place. The burnt titanium finish stays because the material is just heat treated and not coated.
And lug nuts chip due to the socket "slipping" while we torque them down. If they were both perfectly manufactured (usually never the case) there will be no chips because there will be no displacement of the socket in respect to the lug nut, they will spin uniformly no matter how high or low the amount of torque (if they are they same material. Otherwise the deflection caused by the applied torque will vary and may result in chipping).
I've had Mutekis before and they displayed no sign of wear. But they also come with their own lug nut key.

I had the red Rays lug nuts and they faded after about a year.
Maybe try putting a thin layer of cloth/papertowel over the lug before you torque them? Maybe even a little oil or grease, but then you would have to clean them.
IDK just throwing out ideas.

JDM bling lug nuts look good for the first time you install them.
After that they get trashed.
I have been through a couple sets, currently have a red set of Jays that will be on the car for Homecoming but I do prefer the spline drive lug nuts that come with a key they seem to put up with the wear of taking them off and on often.

^ You need more red! I have those plastic wrapped sockets for my work, they are plastic on the outside to protect the area on the wheel around the lug when using a impact gun, they don't protect the actual lug themselves. Any bolt that's coated and requires 80ft lbs + of tq is gonna get trashed pretty quick.
My Audi had fake plastic nuts that covered the lug bolts. They looked real and were a perfect color match to the wheels. There would be no reason why you couldn't paint them any color. You never touch them with a socket. They just pop off with a little tweezery thing. Something to think about if they fit.
