Question on Gas
What kind of gas does everyone put in their Cars? 99.9% of the time I'm using Chevron but this past weekend I filled partially up with premium gas at QT. I was on the other side of town running late so I didn't bother looking for a Chevron.
This afternoon when I started the car up it felt kind of sluggish and had a rattling sound a bit like an old carburetor.
Anyone ever have this ? Not sure if its fuel related.
No more QT

i will do anything but ma and pa or ampm. i usually use the valero next to me since it is the best price i find anywhere for premium. never noticed any problems. maybe you got 87 on accident. seen it happen. hell, i have seen people get deisel on accident and vise versa
I pressed 91 and thats what the meter was charging me so it better not have been 87
Fortunately I only went halfway i should have just gone a 1/4.
If in fact the wrong fuel was in, will there be any damage at this point ?

Like David said all the major companies use the same refinary here.
Just an FYI:
Try to not fill up when a tanker is at a station or has just finished filling the holding tanks. The churning of the gasoline kicks up particulates that have settled at the bottom of the tanks. The kicked up particles make it to the pumps and into your fuel tank if you are filling up. The contaminants could potentially cause fuel system and/or engine problems. Could be what is causing the OP's problems.
