Teharu sucks ass now, got sick from there a month ago. You should change it to a boba meet.
Ask enough people and every restaurant has made somebody sick
True Robert.. Im just thankful that you do such a great job mixing the meet locations up for us! Finding meet spots that please the majority of the owners week after week must be difficult.

Why thank you Alex, way to keep it positive around here!

Hahahaha well done Roberto, abusing your power just a little too much.

Teharu again but this time we make reservations for like 100 people so we know for a fact we get in as a whole. I'm sure the s2ki kiddies won't mind having sushi again????

I say boycott Teharu and go to Seksun on Ray and Alma School instead. The food there is just as good if not better and it is the same revolving sushi concept.

I also say boycott Teharu. Seriously, who turns down a group of 20 ready to pay when they have a whole section open. There seemed to be a lot of food still revolving by the end of the night, it's too bad they threw it out rather than sell it.

Oh, also, if Seksun is the winner, watch out for those redlight/speed cameras at Alma & Warner. (40mph on a 3 lane road!)

They didn't have the staff to accommodate everyone, and that portion of the convener belt was shut down.

When we used to frequent there we had a hookup who made sure we had a spot, we don't anymore. If you want to go somewhere because the quality of the food that's fine, but lets not blame a fairly small always packed restaurant because none of us thought to make reservations for a group that would have easily taken half off their total capacity.

Did they actually turn us down, or did they tell us to stand in line and wait our turn?

I was not aware we didn't have any prior arrangements. However, they could have still sat the entire group down and allocated food to the other section, with an expectation that service overall would be slower. It's my opinion that they left money on the table and didn't adequately manage to capacity. (unless the other conveyor was broken)

On the other hand, great work by NYPD Pizza in taking the 15 or so that walked over.

Correct, we did not make reservations. They won't let another group sit on the second conveyer for two reasosn. One was they did not have enough staff, and two the conveyers are linked. They would have had to make a ton of extra food to completely stock the entire conveyor to that none of the other customers on the normal side would be inconvenienced.

With all that said, I'm down to try the place Jerry mentioned. I've never been there and I would like to check it out. I just don't think it's far for us to get pissed at some place for not having room for us when we ourselves didn't even bother to give them a heads up.
