Default RIP Samsung

As the title states I do not currently have a functional cell phone. The biggest pain in the a$$ is that I have lost all of the phone numbers that it contained as well as the pictures & video. If you would like me to have your contact info please PM me. Also, If you know of any cell phone gurus that can recover my data I would be forever indebted to you. Thanks!

Jayhawker "may" have the data cable and software for the Samsung. His model is the newer sliding type.

I have the motorola software and newer USB cables. I back up my cell phone to my computer.

If the numbers were stored on the SIM card, no problem, just pop it into another phone and you're good to go.

If the numbers were stored in the phone memory, you might be bumming. In this case if the phone truly died, bring it to the carrier (Sprint, T-Mobile, etc) and see if they can swap the memory into an identical working device and pull the numbers for you.

I'm with sprint so no sim card

I took it to their service center before I even posted trying to figure out what was wrong. They said it was dead and I'm sh!t outta luck. What burns me up is that I know the info is in there somewhere. The phone lights up and displays the sprint logo screen but won't go past that so I know it's not completely shorted out and toasted.

Ugh. Odds are good that the internal flash memory that holds your data is the same internal flash memory that is supposed to execute the code in the phone to boot it up. If it won't load past the logo screen, you might be SOL after all.
