Andrew, andrew andrew... My girlfriend works with your girlfriend I think..at Chase??
I'll help you out.. for stock size rims the best tires for the street with out any mention of money are the Bridgestone Potenza SO-2's but at 200 bux a pop and when the rears wear out at 8K-10K miles they get pricey. they are pretty hard to find just b/c they have stopped making them. They don't squeak that loudly and over all a really quiet tire.
read this threadyou know you want to click me
I use Yokos...they seem pretty popular for the price and treadwear. I know the choice of tires for the NSX crowd is Potenza SO-3 pole positions.. but at 270 a tire... sheesh.

Welcome to your new home
If you need tires for the stock rims I think the Hankook RS-2 is the way to go now. They have been getting rave reviews especially for the price. As for sizes you want to go with 205/55/16 front and 245/45/16 rear on stock suspension.
Andrew, it was Mike (Gloffer) that you talked to at the dealership. There are a lot of alternatives out there, as you can see. I love the performance of the stock S02s, but others have found their favorites. Just never, never mix front and rear tire types (like S02s on the front, Kumhos on the back) It's a recipe for disaster with this car.
Good luck!

But anyways, I don't have the hankooks or know anbody that does but have been watching them for a while. Now that they are out people have really liked them and at less than half the price of S-02's I feel they are definitely worth trying.
