Also, unless you are running Hoosier R6's your tires should last alot more then one track day.

the way i drive.. the rear tires will get through the event but there wont be much left.. i wouldn't want to drive 450 miles back home on them..
Also, September 26 event is the same weekend as Seven Stock and they will be holding their meet in Irvine and it should be pretty cool to check out. From my understanding, they will caravan through Phoenix and have a track day on the same weekend, but on Sunday. That will be neat to watch (RX7s burning fuel, killing the environment )

I'll see man, if I'm not working then I'm down but most likely I am. I've got stock shocks and springs if you want them btw.

I have never burned up a set of "decent performance" tires at the track unless they were on their last legs in the first place......
Heck I had track tires last be 8 events ( not days....some events were 2 days)
Im driving to Cali to run willow springs on my Star Specs, tracking..and then driving home

wrong or not i go out there to have fun.. i like having the back end come out a little.. plus i run cheap tires like nankangs that don't hold up for crap.. better tires proper line yea your tires will last.. but for me.. if my back end comes out a little i'll just go full throttle and counter steer.. sorry part of me still stuck in the drifting world..
If you are sliding the car alot then you will definately go through tires faster
