I got this pest control stuff from Lowe's. I can't remember the name, but I know it's made by Bayer and is very effective. Spray liberally all around the perimeter of your car-hole, inside and outside. If you have any cardboard boxes in there get rid of them and replace with tightly closing plastic storage containers. Cardboard boxes are pest condos. You'll find your dead scorpions on the floor in a day or two. Repeat spraying monthly or so and you will probably never see another one, inside at least. I used to have a major issue with black widows and other various spiders...but not no mo!

I dont know if that will work, but herd lots of people die in suicide attempts. Maybe it will kill the little bugger hahahah.

Good luck
That won't most likely work with todays modern cars. The emissions are very low compare to the old school gas burning V8's.

I think the fvcker is either dead and dried out, or vacated the building.

Most likely he dried out. I had that happen with a black widow in the garage the other day. And I found my first brown recluse in the bathtub this morning. Hooray for new construction!! Surprisingly, they're much smaller than I thought, and they don't look like much until you really examine their body.

Total count in the 9 months I've been in the house:
2 Black widow
1 Scorpion
1 Brown Recluse
Tons of wolf spiders (harmless)

Gotta love the desert, where the wildlife, general climate conditions, and even plants are trying to kill you on a daily basis.

Dude!
I lived in Louisiana for 4 years and Texas for 12. Arizona is a cake-walk compared to what's trying to eat you in the SE. Them shits are all over. Reptiles on the welcome mat, mosquitos, aligators in all the waterways... yada. Oh.. and the damned fire ants, and ticks?
Shit!
I have a friend in Houston who was jogging in one of the big parks and was bitten on the leg by a brown recluse. He was hospitalized for about two weeks and lost a chunk of his calf muscle. Bad-ass spider.
The only thing I can suggest here in the desert, which seems to work well for me is to cultivate your lizards. Take care of them as they eat ants, crickets and other things that are prey of nastier insects. I even tend to a couple of black widows in the far reaches of the yard because the do indeed take out scorpions as well as crickets, etc. However, I am very watchful on the BW population. Just keep a few.
I have been in my crib for three years now and I don't spray. I just keep an eye of what is out here and introduce Mantids and lady bugs. Seems like our little property has a decent eco-balance without spraying.
Except for the scorpion that my wife's car chased into the garage from the driveway. Bet the FVCKR was poisened by the neighbors and was fleeing. We get more bugs when the neighbors do the chemicals as they take a run. But normally, we're in a good balance.
Keep and love your lizards, yo!
