That's right boys and girls (this includes you Kirk, whatever you are)...

I'm moving to New York over the Christmas holidays. I've tentatively scheduled the 22nd as the day I start the drive. Anyone who wants any car parts signed by me will have to schedule to have it done before then.

It's been a blast riding around with everyone here. I'll definitely miss you guys (and girls).

Can't believe you're already taking off. Good luck out there. We'll have to have a going away party!

I fully plan on having a going away party. Guess I need to pull the keg out of my storage shed...

Not sure when I can throw the party, I'll probably have a apt hunting trip up there sometime early in Dec.

One of these weekends, I'll be taking my truck over to my storage so I'll stop by and pick up my hood Phil...I'll let you know a day or two in advance, probably next mon/tues.

Anyone need an old solid wood desk? Maybe a king size waterbed? I also have a trashed 4L60e transmission and torque converter out of a 1996 GMC C1500 up for grabs. There's a beat up black leather sofa there too, great for someone's game room or kids room (would also work for pulling out of the garage to the driveway when friends come over so they have somewhere to sit when watching football games on an old trinitron TV coughhintcough).

Good luck in NY, it's a cool place with the best food in the world.

Skibum's top 10 things to do in NY

1. Eat authentic NY pizza
2. Dance on the jumbo piano at FAO Schwarz
3. Take a carriage ride in central park with a girl.
4. Touch her in forbidden places
5. Skating in Rockefeller Center
6. Talk to some bums about random stuff
7. Watch entertaining sidewalk performances
8. Go fishing out in Montauk
9. Get ripped off at night clubs
10. Eat more pizza

Don't forget to take nice long walks thru the parks at night! Especially Central park.

i went there for my 16th birthday, and my favorite memory is walking around at 2 in the morning, and the streets still packed with people, and cops everywhere. tons of people horking knock-offs in briefcases, and when a cop comes around the corner, they slam it shut and act like a businessman. hilarious and crazy
