soft top down!
that is so ironic because about five nights ago that happen to me also, but with all the rips i have in my top i was able to pick up a top for 150 shipped from a dude online that bought a hard top....so maybe we can do a little tech day for each other to put on our new tops
your thoughts on this?
let me know

Cypher,
Thats the price to pay when you get a whole new top. Did you do the static cling to protect the window from the sun? Did you use vinlyex to clean every so often? Not to kick you when you're down but, when I bought the car I already knew that the plastic window was going to 1/)crack 2.) replaced 3.) or get a new car. I argued to get mine replaced at 24K nmiles b/c of the holes, and I had a hell of a time. The only reason why they did it was when I was arguing w/ the Service manager, my previous occupation came up and that basically bridged the connection. Good luck. Personally, It sucks and I would try to fight it all the way, but on the other hand I knew in the future that i would have to get it fixed. Good luck

I thought the service time Honda assigned to replacing a top was several hours for an S2000 technician....Cesar might be able to do it that quickly since he is "smarter than the average S2000 technician" but I can't believe any of us would do it that quickly (and correctly)...
I've pretty much decided to go aftermarket top, installed by a shop that specializes in convertible tops (Scottsdale Rd. & Thomas). They are doing a glass window w/o defrost for $1400 installed. The aftermarket top is a strong material than stock.
Forgot to mention they'll warrenty the top for 5 years.

haha y'all think you're so funny.lol
the top lets see when I had the frame off of the car, to take the cloth off of the frame it took about 45 minutes.
I guess to just replace the clotch top it'll take abou 5-7 hours. depending on how many snack breaks.
The Xbrace should only take like 25 minutes. These two are good DIY'ers
see, I remember reading about how Wlaurent was the co-founder for Hot Pink in Phoenix? something about he wanted to set up place where he would feel accepted ???
