Default test pipe q's

I'm sure this is an old topic but... Is anyone running a stock exhaust with a test pipe. What size test pipe, 63mm? What are some of the problems passing emisions? Any check engine light issues? Thanks

I was running that setup for about 7 months until recent when i got an exhaust...

You will notice a smell, slightly raspier noise and no CEL if you do a fix. (Search Mechanical O2 Fix, or Test Pipe CEL Fix).

In all reality, you SHOULD be able to pass since with OBDII vehicles they just scan your ECU and if you dont have any CEL's, you are good. I think soemwhere its on the books that they do a visual, but....never have for me. I've always just put my cat back on incase they do. Plus if anyone working there has a good nose, they will smell it.

Thanks for all the info. I think in the long run it's just best to go with an exhaust, I'll let you know which route I end up at, thanks again
