Hello all,
Have any of you guys replaced your back tires and kept the stock wheels?
I just hit 12k on the odometer and the back tires are toast!!
I was looking at Yokohama AVS ES100 and Kumho ECSTA Supra 712= Tires around $100 each, To replace the rear..
I was wondering if anyone has had experience with aftermarket tires in our AZ heat.......
Any feedback is appreciated,
Jerry

Jerry,
There are lots of good alternatives to the OEM S02s out there - just make sure you have the same tire on all four wheels. For whatever reason, it makes a huge difference on our cars. Go to the tire forum & you'll find more details.
i.e. I tried the Kumho Ecstas on the rear with my OEM S02s on the front - car was very squirrly and all over the place. Many people who have tried the Kumhos on all 4 corners have been very happy with them.
My $.02.
