Oh that reminds me, I saw a bunch of diffs in the classifieds recently, one had 35k miles. Not sure if you got a new one yet but I thought I'd let you know.

 

Yea....sooo what happened anyway?

 

My diff blew. I was just cruising home (semi quickly). When I shifted into second (not even going quickly), the diff gave out. Pretty weaksauce. Just ordered a rebuilt 4.77 diff through Puddydad and I'm sending him my blown diff for a discount.

I'm excited to get it all finished though, because I'm simultaneously getting new struts, new diff, and getting my cv buckets swapped. So no more diff whine, no more clunking over bumps and strange handling (struts), and no more vibrations ~60 mph. Woohoo!
