MASE's kit seems great if it does everything it says:

Nothing wrong with a turbo S2000 as long as it is done correctly and tuned well.

I would not suggest any sort of piggyback for tuning, for sure go with an AEM or Kpro.

Use a quality turbo, and be smart with it. There are plenty of cars that have had the shit beat out of them on stock motors (look at the AFI car) and have not had any engine issues.

I hear about more head gasket issues with people running thicker ones running aggressive tunes. I'd keep it conservative on the street, and it should hold together fine.

Yeah I like the mase kit. That is more of the high end kit that I have as a option. I like the fact that you dont have to relocate anything. I've seen the inline kit 1 and looks pretty good and makes the power area that I and looking for so somewhere in the middle of there is what I will plan to get. I have more research to do depending on what kit I go with or if I still piece on together. I have more to learn about turbo sizes/numbers in general. What I mean is I know I would like to run a gt3076r but not sure what make precision turbo is compared to it.

Yeah the engine will remain all stock so I know a good ems and tune would be crucial. Thanks

One thing to consider is, do it right the first time. I'd stay away from the IP Stage 1 and go with Kraft or the Mase kit. Less head aches, more power, etc.

Log manifolds are restrictive and a real pain in the ass when you have to do maintenance.

I cant comment on the top/side mount set-ups as I havents switched to that setup yet.

On my revhard/IP setup I have had very few issues so far. I dont have the coolant lines so I havent had any issues with that, I know some have experienced fittings melting.
The issues I have had are as follows-
1. 2 nuts fell off my downpipe due to incorrect nut selection.
2. 1 nut backed off of the manifold but I caught it before it fell off.
3. Some rough spots in the tune that are blamed on the log manifold by my tuner.
I have daily driven the car for the past month now and have put close to 2k miles on it, Including the prescott run. I have about $4000 total into my kit, I plan on putting another 2500 in the kit to push close to 500 whp.
When piecing together a kit, be prepared for lots of fab work, cutting bending, trips to checkers/autozone/lowes/ace/etc and lots of time and patience. Dont rush it. Plan to have the car down for at least a month.
If you are buying a prefabbed kit, I would set aside a good weekend to install and then a day for tuning. We have decent amount of locals who would be willing to help you install it and save you time and headaches trying to get everything to fit.
Good luck and let me know if you have any questions or wanna go for a ride!

If you're giong to buy a quality manifold, the AFI twinscroll is the ONLY way to go.

The AFI is nice and money. Full-race is also nice, Ip sidewinder is nice, Pfab etlm is nice, Mase is nice, peak boost is nice! I dont think you can go wrong with any of them.

Agreed. They're all quality parts that have their up's and down's. If I personally had to pick one though it would be the AFI Twinscroll manifold.

I also agree but some of them require me to modify the a/c lines or relocate the battery or fuse box which at this time is not what I want to do. I know the Mase does not need any mod which is what I am looking for. I think the AFI is kick ass but I wish they offered another mainfold since the twin scoll is a little over kill for me with the dual dump tubes and all.

Chubby Ninja I would sure like to check out your setup but I live in Tucson. Thanks for the offer. If I head up to Phx I will keep that in mind.
