No go on the Sunday presale. Word is they are only getting 6 per store and most are being bought by employees. This is for PS3's and not Wii's. Wiis are supposed to be in abundance.

PS3's are currently being sold at ~$1500 for a presale ticket (retail is $600) but estimated price on release date is $3k. This is accounting for demand, units released, and previous experience of xbox360/etc.

Good times

Insanity. I gotta feeling there's gonna be a lotta pissed off people come Nov. 17. The gamestop up here took reservations for the PS3 a little while back, they're alotted less than 20 for the launch day, and there were 25 people outside the store when the opened the doors. They took a deposit from all of them, and they said they've yet to get what they're even alotted on any of the recent system launches. If more companies pull shit like that, there's gonna be riots.

I've turned into a 360 guy, I'll be laughing. Course, I'll prolly end up picked up Sony's newest offering if not Nintendo's as well this spring. See how it plays out.

Also if there's any get togethers between the 1st and the 4th I'm in. One last hurrah and all that.

When people start paying $3k for a $699 retail item that in 6 months will be in abundance, that's the end of commonsense in America.

funny thing..

me and my friend went, he was 8 I was 9, there were 7 PS3s available, the #7 guy on the list who was annoying as **** left for some reason and never came back, so my friend got the #7 spot we were gonna split whatever we sold, then the manager came out this morning handing out tickets and lo and behold he had an extra one for me. So me and my friend are going to sell our PS3s and split whatever we get.

If you can get your hands on one of these things, do it. One of my instructors has been talking about the major supply chain problems Sony is having with production. It is almost a guaranteed mess once they are released. Be capitalistic and horde as many as you possibly can to put them up on ebay and make a profit.

Weird PS3 commercial:
