What to do in Phoenix?
Hey all... I'll be out in Phoenix, Scottsdale to be precise, in a couple weeks for our business' annual meeting. I've never been to Arizona before, so what are some decent mid-priced restaurants to go to? How about unique things to do & see? I won't have a lot of spare time, but just in case I'd like to have some options.

Biltmore is in Phoenix, great area - lots of nice restaurants and the Biltmore Fashion Park mall right next to it.
I like Marco Polo Supper Club down the street. Biltmore is on 24th north of Camelback. MPSC is on Camelback and 26th st (south side of Camelback - near Hard Rock Cafe - which just closed) I also like Roxsand - in the mall area. That area is not medium priced though. I would rate it a little higher, but well worth the money.
Here is a list of popular restaurants in Phoenix.
Since you may not have a lot of time I am not sure what to tell you to go see. Check out AZcentral.com or AZfamily.com for information on the area.

If you are going to have a few hours to yourself, try driving out to Apache Junction and seeing the Superstition Mountains, or Canyon Lake. For a real AZ tourist attraction, try the Heard Museum (Native American art and artifacts) which is downtown.
For real Phoenix food, try Los Dos Molinos. It is on Central south of Phoenix, in the shadows of the South Mountain Preserve. They have great margaritas, lots of atmosphere, explosive salsa and (amazingly) pretty good prices. Arrive early on Friday and Saturday, though, or expect to wait 3 hours for a table.
