Only go with proven tire/wheel setups. Going to same size front and rear wheel/tires so you can rotate them will potentially make your car unsafe in certain manuevers.

the wheels i am looking at for 17s only comes in 17x7.5 +45.. i would stagger the wheels if they had the size.. they also have a 16x7 +40.. but i dont think that would look right running 16s front and 17s rear.. what is the bolt pattern by the way.. 5x100 or 5x114.3?

They will fit just fine. I have 17x7.5 with 48mm offset and the 3mm difference will be fine. Stay with a 215/45 front tire and a 245/40 rear and you'll be A-OK!

Also, beware of the center bores on the new wheels. They are different front-back on your car.

70.3mm Front
64.1mm Rear

You should be fine with that offset.
