Default Wheel cleaning tool?

What do you guys use? I bought a couple of wheel cleaning "brushes" and they don't work for crap.

These rims have tons of deep corners and this thing makes brake dust like no other.

Help!

Good ole elbow grease! It sucks but it gets done right. Also if its a glossy finish I usually put a coat of wax to make it easier the next time around.

Any issues with harming the finish? I haven't ever used a dedicated wheel cleaning chemical because I've seen some messed up wheels from them. I have no idea what brands or anything though.

I do like Meguiars other gold class products.

There is no way I'm gonna wax these wheels. I am far to lazy and busy to spend that kind of time on it. They're freakin' 15 spokes! WTF!

Thanks for the advice peeps.

I just use the leftover bucket from the carwash and do what Phillie said. The Meguiars product doesn't seem to do much more IMO.

As for wax, do you just use regular wax or is there special wheel wax? I haven't tried that yet.

I have 3 piece 10 spoke wheels with a polish rim. You can use any kind of wax, even a spray wax. You just want it to catch the particles and not embedd them into the wheel itself like the paint job on our cars. Yeah I get lazy. I don't do it everytime I wash my car.
