Default WTF is this inside my engine!?

OMG I popped the valve cover for some work and something was rattling.....I flip it over and out fall these two marbles:

WTF!!!!

I think I heard another one drop inside the head.

They are not plastic....I can't tell what the material is...

Anyone have an idea what these may be or how they got in there?

Look like standard gray alien implants to me. Was the clock missing time?

I would be very scared to start my car after that.

Yeah I'm not sure what to do. I really don't need this before race weekend.

Going to look really hard inside the head tomorrow.

The marbles do not fit in the PCV. Larger one is ~10mm.

Ok word is these may be media blasting ceramic beads used for removing coatings.

My valve cover was powdercoated a long time ago at HPC in Chandler.
They must have left those in there.
I'm going to call them tomorrow and punch them in the face.

This fails on many levels
I'm surprised nothing has broken because of this.
