I'm thinking that maybe they were wedged between the valve cover and the baffle? IDK, but that is crazy. I can't imagine that those things have been bouncing around up there since you put the VC on!

Don't even know what to say, how does your Valvetrain look?

Good lord!!

Yeah if it was HPC I would definitely have the Godfather take care of it, cause:

The Godfather doesn't punch you in the face, he just LOOKS at you and you punch YOURSELF in the face...

Yes I do think they were somehow stuck between the baffle.
Did a little research and there is some funky stuff going on in the S2k valve cover baffle where things can easily get caught.

and with the plate removed:

My valvetrain looks in perfect condition.
I will pull the oil pan just in case.
Can't really think where these beads could do damage other than getting stuck in an oil hose.

Oh and for future reference, DO NOT EVEN THINK of running this Vibrant piece:

It does not work on our car and I doubt any car considering the oil cap area is never going to be baffled enough. Half my engine bay got soaked in oil at the last track event.

I doubt it cause issues, but I would prefer to get them out. Pull your baffle as well. I bet you will find more. They almost never stop and make sure all the media balls are out.

Pull the baffle? You mean the oil pan baffle right?
I don't think you can take off the valve cover baffle off without breaking the rivets.
No idea how you would replace those.

Aren't you supposed to hook that oil cap up to a catch can?

LOL shut up Beavis

Yes I had it hooked up all nice and the big track day G's made the oil go all the way to the catch can, the little baffling in there, and out the filter.

No wonder they have crazy baffling on "proper" valve cover PCV plugs.

I'm changing the second port to use the PCV plug but with a straight through fitting. I may still have issues. We'll see.
