I will be out of town for most of april. Is anyone interested in trying to get together for food/picnic on the lakefront? Anyone know if there are any procedures for securing a spot?

yes, let's do it. Think it should definitely be on a weekend.

I think to reserve a spot, it's first come first serve for most of the area.

 

What about doing it at the Dock or Joe's crab shack?

OK I am out the weekend of the 12th and the 26th. The 12th is the GF's b-day and I will be in Atlanta during the 26th. I may have to miss this one.

I understand that this may not be possible, but can we see if CG has plans to make it? Maybe that would help us determine our location.

 

i have full intentions to attend, but would prefer that any eatery chosen have a non-seafood option available (seafood allergies)... swelling and difficulty breathing aren't usually in my lineup for a fun night out...

i could be available for a evening event on the 19th, but not a daytime event.

 

I'm still working on my "must do's" for April. Taxes! April 12-13 NCCC Sanctioned Autocross @ Bronson Field, this is where Corvettes come in from all over the country and run a slightly faster course than the school course. I love going faster than the Vette guys because it drives them nuts. The 24th, 26th & 27th SCCA autocross prep and event. Hmm, I don't know if I will be able to make it but I know I want to. Figure out when and where and if I can be there I will. If I can't make it there will be another time.

BTW, I share some of PJK3's seafood allergies, but I can eat mudbugs.

April 24-26 Jeep Jamboree and an autocross

could probably do a week night. easier to get seating
