Default Comptech S/C install

Hello guys/gals.. Getting ready to order my Comptech S/C kit from
Jeff/Hardtop guy. Hoping to find a local resource to either do the install
for me, or assist me with the install.
I've been to only one meet so far, back in January when we all went to
Lake Bisteneau. Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon!
Thanks!

Rock on. I thought I was going to be the first Supercharged in Shreveport but I guess not. I think Holms Honda will do the install but charge an arm and a leg to do it.

I'm gonna call Holmes on Monday and see. I don't mind the extra cost
if they have someone who has done it before, and knows all the tricks
to a succesful install. If that is not the case, I might as well do it myself..
Thanks!

The next step will probably be to find a shop in Dallas that has done it,
and just take it there..

I know a real good shop in Baton Rouge that did my kit and tuning. If you need me to check on pricing and such just let me know and I'll give them a call for you.

Well, I talked with Daryl Oliver at Holmes, and while he is a great
guy, he had to decline my offer for them to install my kit....
Do not want to travel out of town, incase something goes wrong
your screwed..
Oh well, it sounded like a good idea.

Not sure how hard it is installing a S/C for a S2k but me and Nightstalker put a Turbo and extras on his S2k with not much problem ... i heard that the s/c was easier ... it took us about 4 days and we are not mechanicly inclined at ALL.... well atleast he isnt ... and his car is running pretty good ... just needs to get a new clutch atm. You should give it a try unless you just dont have the time or good instructions. We didnt need any special tools besides a certain size drill bit but we found that.

Well good luck on that S/C!!

i think you could do the install yourself if your up to it. Ive heard the s/c is alot easier to install then the turbo, so if we did it, then id bet anyone could do it. Order a Papa Johns pizza and pull an all nighter!

as to the lack of "mechanical skills" i agree, srtguy has none, lol j/k. if it came with instructions and you have the basic tools, i think its doable.

Nightstalker, Would you and SRTGuy be interested in helping with a Turbo
install? I'd be happy to pay you for your time, and I have a well equipped
shop as well.
BTW, What turbo kit do you have? and where do I buy one?
Thanks,
Bob
