My j's header was the best. There total setup yielded great results. However as Andy stated it will take more then the header. Advice for you though. Save a little extra and get a used turbo kit. If I could do it over again I would.....

Agreed! When I get the money, FI will be the way to go!

If I was going to purchase a header for under 700, Rick's has a quality copy of the Mugen. That was a while ago though. I'm not sure they still make it. I love the T1R but honestly, what kinds of nominal gains can you make without a tune? That AEM EMS Series 2 is looking pretty promising btw... Plug n Play, Supports all factory sensors!

I had the Ricks header and had no beef. Pretty good quality header!

true but i was just saying. mugen had some pretty decent gains in the mid range. berk, ehh, i thought about it but i did some searches and there were gains but it wasn't the best bang for the buck. no way am i saying mugen is either but this one is not that bad either. but andy i right there are a lot of headers out there for better price under 1000 but some of them only give gains top end without supporting mods.

come to think of it, a lot of our sponsor have pretty good deals on headers they run about 600ish and give good gains. *cough, better than berk
Understand, and I wasn't attacking you Alan. I was just giving the guy a heads up, because we're going to sit here and babble about MAYBE 3-5 HP and anywhere from $400-1200 to essentially get the same thing.
All the headers have very similar designs... Bottom line is that there is only so many ways you can design them and I can't even begin to imagine how one can make more power than the other, and to be honest I don't care (3-5 HP is irrevelant to me personally). The only reason I have one is because it was a special group buy price when I bought my previous Berk Test Pipe.
Also like others have said a header is pretty much useless without other exhaust components.

I'm trying not to be harsh. This is strictly my opinion, Bee can choose for himself.

yea i can agree to that. and yeah i got mine used so i got a good deal. the thing i agree most with andy is that, any header from 400-1200 is going to give u about the same whp. if you buy the 100 dollar header all u get is a shiny header. if u buy a $2,500 header congrats you have 7-8 more whp, thats about 2-3 more than what you could get with half the money.

and andy, its cool bro. "to he his own opinion" yeah, the op was just asking for a header and i know we are just giving out our opinions.
