Default Hurricane Isaac

Hurricane Isaac is threatening the Gulf South, and even projected to make landfall right on the mouth of the MIssissippi River. All according to fluctuating spaghetti tracks.

In any event, where will YOU be, will you take your S? Are you staying, how do you plan to tuck your baby away?

For myself, I plan on riding out the storm and leaving my car exactly where it lies... It worked for me during Katrina and also during Gustav, luckily both times there was zero damage (knocks on wood).

I'm staying, but my S is going in my dads garage on ramps
I have no trees or debris in or around my yard, but my neighbors on the other hand... Their trees are already giving me headaches with branches and tree debris, so I'm not taking any chances.... Sucks that I bought 15 new windows for my house, but haven't got installed yet... Supposed to be in sept. Soooo I'll see how well these old crappy single pane windows hold up.
If anyone needs help with anything I'll be around, hopefully not at work

Either leave it under the car port or drive it to work parking garage about a half mile away. Being it is a cat 1-2 I don't expect it to be a dangerous storm.

It's safe in the parking garage at work. Even if I didn't have to come in it would've stayed in my driveway.

Im in my S at my brothers house in Houston. Driving six hours in a car on stiffass springs with a 3inch single kinda sucks. It was still fun though.

Well getting out of town yesterday took about an hour but. We left at 1230. Stopped in lafayette 3 times, once to say hello to my mom, and pulled into my brothers at 8. We made great time. Part of that was four ambulances on i10 that passed me about 5 miles south of baton rouge. They all had lights and sirens on so i jumped right on their tail and drafted all the way through BR. That was a lifesaver.
