Hello everyone I recently purchased a beautiful used s2K 01 silverstone only 11K miles on it.. So Yes I have been introduced into the ways of being anal over an automobile. I have been reading s2ki for a few months now but didnt know there was a local group. Here in Slidell I have only seen a black s2000 out in belair and a spa yellow only once.. So quick can we stop sales to slidell residents?? lol So can I hope I can gain membership into this club but I dont know the procedure.. I just want to know that im not the only person that wipes his car down after a 5 minute trip and always looks back on it while it is parked.. Well could be worse I read about one guy cleaning the undercarriage with a toothbrush... But right now I just like to drive with a big on my face!

 

well, for starters, you may want to register your VIN number w/ S2ki.com so that you're shown as an owner instead of just as Enthusiast. (don't worry, they don't use it for anything but verification.)

then, just make sure that gengiskwong sees your post... he'll take care of the rest.

Welcome... the black one is Slidell is no more. It was replaced by a Silver Viper.

The story goes like this... The guy who owned the black S2K... is an instructor at the local AutoX chapter. He invited all of us S2000's guys down to one of thier events... after our track times were posted he realized that he would no longer be the fastest S2000 in the area. So he bailed and got a Viper!

That's my story and I am sticking to it

 

Well Silvercat01, now you know that there's one person in this group that you might not want to believe all of the time. The biggest lie I've known S2K_LA to tell was when he told a whopper about how ugly his GF is. Upon meeting said young lady we found that she was not in the least bit ugly, but we big wonder what the hell she was doing with him.

If you want to really have some fun you'll want to try autocrossing your S2000. You've got a couple of ex-S2000 owners in this group that are SCCA instructors. While we've both moved on to different cars we sure didn't lose our love of the S2000.

Silvercat, it is nice to meet you!! I am the one that had the black one in Belair.....it is now a ricer in Houston and has been replaced with a Viper. So, if you see a guy driving like an ass in one, it is me. If it is driving normal, it is my wife.

BTW, how did you know I lived in Beliar?? Are you stalking me.......my wife???

And you ask a few of the guys....I can teach you the limits in the S2000. But, since you bought it, you have to race it.

don't you mean the 20th? also, do you mean upside down the way you did it, or the correct way, which was upside down what you thought it should be?

finally took out the adj completely. stopped the urethane bushings from creaking and hopefully will allow me to take the bar apart.

BTW silvercat, still waiting on some basic contact info. will get you the banner now though.
