Default New Guy in Town

greets everyone...

i guess i'm now making the move from long term lurker to owner.

i'm posting here because i'm a Baton Rouge resident and about an hour ago (looks at watch), i purchased a used 2001 Silverstone/Black.

i'm exhausted -- long long long day at the dealership, but i still have that quiver in my gut, and still am in the daze of not believing it's really mine.

Congrats!! Have a blast with your new ride. I'm still looking for one.

How much did you pay? Miles? Condition?

well, this Thursday is going to be a bit for short notice (also, i'm deathly (literally) allergic to seafood, so Kotos may not be my best choice.) i'll talk to the wife and see what's going on...

THANKS for the invite though! maybe not this time, but maybe next!

well, Eddie has slowly convinced me to go... i'm going to make all efforts to be there, but i'll have to bail on some other plans already in place. it might be that i can come for only a brief visit <1hr. if nothing else, i don't think the wife will make it... too short of a notice to get a sitter...

who knows though -- i have also heard that Japan is noted for excellent beef... i think i saw it once on Iron Chef...

Well I am going, but now my GF is demanding that we take her car. I am against it, but she seems to batting a thousand lately in the argument department Did we ever get reservations?
BTW: I will be ordering the steak. I had it there before and it rocked. Something about eating steak with chopsticks.
