New Guy in Town
yeah, I had the same problem. 3rd gear coasting, and buzzzzzzzz. It sounds kinda cool, just loud. Only prob is that it isn't supposed to sound like that. It's the clutch. Clutches in all cars are designed to absorb certain amounts of vibration through the drivetrain. Honda is on its 3rd version of the s2k clutch.
Oh, and I just put 2 extra coats of zaino on my car saturday...it's sure shiny.

PJK3, make sure you check out this thread: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=101823 These guys are going to be having a blast and it's a great time for you to really get a feel for what the car can do.
it does sound interesting, but i'm afraid the timeline is too tight for me... my wife isn't really adjusted yet to the whole 'fast car' idea... i don't think she's ready for me tracking it... not to mention, i'd like to make sure i have any bugs worked out before i put it to the test at a semi-remote location... (out of town)
thanks for the invite though, but i'm going to pass... i'm not really sure i want to track it anyway, but i was thinking of taking an advanced driving course or something within the next year...

PJK3 as a side note. All Honda products have the radio codes hidden somewhere in them. Some dealers put them as a sticker in the side of the glove compartment (which we don't have), some dealers put them under the hood is such locations as the inside the fuse box cover, air cleaner cover, etc. I bet if you did a little digging you will find a white label with black numbers with no number greater than six. This is probably the radio code. For my wifes Acura it was inside the fuse box.

great info! i'll dig around a bit to see what i can find. i've talked to the dealer, and they are being great about the whole thing. i'm getting new front bumper plugs from them (they put an ugly front plate on the car and lost the plugs
.), they're coming to my office to fix my rear-view mirror (had them replace the windshield Monday and now the mirror shakes like a belly dancer), and they are working with me to get me the key code and the radio code. still, it doesn't hurt to have a verification for that radio code available. i'm going to look around later today when i have some time and see if i can find it.

Eddie - hrm. i just got finished w/ the windshield and getting my rear view mirror fixed. Team sent the windshield place out to my office to fix it... regretfully, it doesn't look to be an OEM windshield though. while i'm not upset about that fact, i don't have a warm fuzzy inside either... hrm - i guess a windshield is pretty much a windshield... they had Safelite Auto Glass come out and do the work. outside of some misc. residues of the previous seal, etc. that fell on the floor - the job looks really clean. of course, it hasn't rained yet, so i'll find out how good the job is once we get a good storm. the dealership technically still owes me a detail job too since it was raining after they finished their final work on Monday...
basically, i've just held TEAM's feet to the fire on every little item - making sure not to let stuff slip out of memory. that along with the fact that i negotiated every little issue into the deal doesn't hurt...
GK: that link didn't work for me... but i won't mind giving and overview of my experience. considering my first couple sales experiences were horrible, TEAM has really turned the experience around... the first couple of sales guys had me never wanting to walk back on the lot... (lying to a customer about the car and the situation to try to coerce a sale isn't a good idea when you're dealing with an engineer who's done his homework...
