Now that I have insulted you in front of your family, friends, ancestors, and the lame 3 legged mule you rode in on... I hereby decree a challenge to all S2000 owners journeying to the land of Pensacola!

I hereby lay forth a challenge to see which S2000 owner can produce the fastest lap. The S2000 owner with the fastest lap shall have his dinner paid for by the other slower owners at next dinner meeting after Pensacola.

The SLOWEST owner will have some embarrassing hazing ritual he will have to do and have the photos posted on the general forum of this board.


I also nominate Wankel as the official picture taker and overall rule mediator since he doesn't own and S2000.

You know it is one thing to "think" you know how to drive... It is another to have your slow ass filmed, pictured, documented, and ridiculed on the internet. One of us will be that person...

I am currently teaching Ashley how to drive the S2K for the sole purpose of her posting a faster lap time than GKW.

LMAO. Great idea S2K_LA!! I'll be more than happy to film/take pics. Imagine if I actually get a faster lap than one of you guys with my CL!! In my dreams!! This will definitely make things more interesting.

I will feel pretty bad getting beat by someone with flat tires.
And with the rear speaker that I am about to install, I know at least I will SOUND faster than anyone else!!!

Looked at your lap. If that is as fast as you can drive I will bring my grandmother to Pensacola. At least you will have competitive lap times with her............LOL

Tsk Tsk Phil... have you not realized that lap was done with soft brakes and only THREE good tires. Imagine my capabilities with FOUR fully functional tires and brakes that work! BTW: Those tires were Toyo Proxies. They make Flinstone tires feel like racing slicks!

You know... to be honest... I think Phil has the "Ace in the Hole". If he doesn't post the fastest lap... I bet his wife will. He admiteed that she drives the car more than he does. I think Phil needs to buy her a new 350Z and have her bring it with her


BTW: Ashley is considering a G35 Coupe to replace her POS FORD that is spewing green smoke from the dash. Man... if she gets the manual there could be wedding bells

 

Now this sounds like fun! Since I'm not likely to be be at the next dinner meeting I don't count, but how would the S2000 crowd feel if I happened to hop in Wankel's CL and beat one or more S2K's.

Don't worry Wankel, I'm not going to make you let me drive your car.

Brian, why don't you add the link of me driving your car with the flat tire for comparison purposes. Ahhh, if there's not someone showing in the video you don't want seen.

The course should be in pretty good shape since we've been doing alot of work on it. Better than when you were here.

Any bets on who will be the first to spin a car? I think I already know who it'll be.

 

That'll be me. of course it would be embarrasing to have the fastest lap done by a CL....in reverse. Of course, even if I lose to brian, I still have the satisfaction of knowing what he has to see each morning in the mirror.... and it;s not ashley

I just checked the vids... CG was 6 seconds faster than me.

CG, I don't mind you driving my car....as long as you don't wreck it!! If you do, you better get the faster times than the S2K's. If for some odd reason you can't beat their times, I'll just have to do it myself.
