Default Old school revival!

Well I am bookmarking this thread here for my project. Basically something I can update with progress. I am restoring a 92 EG hatch. I love these body styles and am working on bringing her back to life. I'll post pics in the morning. Back story on her is she belonged to a good friend of mine and with the amount of work it needed he decided it wasn't in his best interest to keep it. You will see the pics and see why. I am starting from scratch though.

Also to give some insight on why I am doing this is because as a kid I loved this car! This was also back in the time when to me Honda was in its prime. They were considered powerful tuner cars balanced with handeling and power. When I see this car coming up I feel like I am building back "honda" not just a car. As I have been wrenching on it I feel like I am going back in time. Best of all visiting all these websites looking for info on the Civic I see banner ads for the S2000. It makes me appreciate my car even more. Oh well enough venting for now

What's been ordered and here this week:

Hub bearings (oem)
Brakes (oem)
Brake lines (oem)
Rotors (oem)
Upper/lower ball joints (oem)
Upper/lower control arm bushings (oem)

Here are some pics of the car.. its def a rebuild!

Update 4/24/11
Started taking parts off the car and the upper and lower ball joints are gone on this. As well as the control arm bushings. At this point I am contemplating buying the whole assembly.

4/25/11
Ordered new upper and lower ball joints as well as the bushings for her today. They should all be here wednesday.
